Most of the CNAs are used to it, here in the South. They understand that it is a generational thing. In fact at 99 years of age the use of the word colored is considered being polite. The majority of the CNAs are black and young. They have to deal with stuff a lot more difficult than word choice from elderly people.

"People of Color" is just "Colored people" with the words rearranged.

An 'entertainer' with ethics is a rare thing these days. Good for her.

It's actually pretty funny that "race" issues are all always a one way street. A word is good or bad depending on who is saying it. Discrimination is fine depending on who is on the receiving end.

This is why we no longer "need" to have a conversation about race. It hasn't been a conversation in decades, it is just a lecture now.

So I guess they are okay with the principle behind Jim Crow except they oppose the original target of it. This discredits their opposition to the original Jim Crow which negates their objection to it and eliminates their victim status and claim for reparations.
