BassamaticHow do you put on your socks and shoes?
The things we find to talk about.

By the way, you always put your socks on first and THEN your shoes.

1967GoatI guess it depends. If I am camping, it's sock, shoe, sock, shoe. I hate getting dirt/whatever on my socks. Our tent does not have a floor.

There are exceptions of course for extenuating circumstances.

VgexNext thing you know, it'll be a "What goes in first, thread? Milk or cereal?" The answer is cereal, btw.

flashguyI have always put my socks on first, then my shoes, then tied them. It would never have occurred to me to do it another way.

S600MBUSAAs soon as I saw the thread title, that scene came to mind.

As usual, Archie was correct.

Jesus Christ, of course it's cereal. What type of savage would do it any other way?

Rey HRHI never thought anyone would think it's normal to put a sock and shoe on one foot before doing the same to the other foot.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

If at a buffet breakfast and the bowls are next to the milk and the cereal is 30 feet away, I'd probably put the milk in the bowl first. Otherwise, cereal first.

Oz_ShadowI put my socks on in one room and my shoes on in another room.

2012BOSS302Generally both socks first, and as per 67Goat when situations like camping, lake, beach, swimming etc require a different but logical procedure.
