Somebody ring the Old Guard, jdmb03 doesn't like it. Pack it in and roll up the carpet.

Hey guys, if you don't like it, write a letter to someone who cares. Time marches on, and these soldiers will be issued what the military issues them.

I love the M14. At some point, they won't use the M14 at this post. You won't hear me complain. Pissing in the wind is more productive.

Arc.

Are they a deep burgundy color or is the high gloss black sheen just reflecting something nearby?

Either way they look great.

The pictures from the website I saw were a highly polished black. Very sharp.

Impressive. The inscriptions’descriptions are reminders of that most hallowed place.

Or express an opinion about an opinion.

Sorry, but what is it that you are not liking?

Thanks

Looks cheap and I don't see the point of the extended mag. A P226 would be nice.

Yes, they carry loaded weapons. I learned that when I visited Ft. Meyers some years ago.

It has a capacity of 21 which is the number holding extreme significance to the Guards as has been pointed out earlier.

The P226 is not the sidearm of the US Army. The M17 is. These replace the M9s they carried when thst was the sidearm of the Army

I believe it is an all aluminum frame, specially made for these four pistols. The wood on the grip is from the USS Olympia. the glass in the sight is made from marble dust from the tomb. It goes on . . .

Frick me it is cool that they worked that hard on making an amazing weapon, unique for the Tomb of the Unknown.
