I have a granddaughter (Update on page 2 w/photo)!
First grandchild. Mila was born at 8:52 this morning, 2lb/?oz, at 32 weeks. My daughter in law had been hospitalized for preeclampsia and they were keeping a careful eye. I'm told that other than underweight, she is doing very well and no complications are expected.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Rover88,

Congrats to you and your daughter. My wife was pre-eclamptic with my dau., but was able to go to almost full term and I was nervous all the way. I hope and pray everything turns out well for all.

Congratulations on the new arrival. My most recent nephew was born at 2 lbs 14 oz but is now strong as an ox. I’m hoping Mila follows the same path.

Congratulations, Granddad!
My granddaughter is five now, and it's been a sheer delight watching her grow and become a real person!
One of my life's joys is having my granddaughter spot me, and with a wide smile, exclaim, "Grandpa," and run to me with arms wide open for a hug.
I now have a grandson on the way, due in a little over a month. I get to do it all over again!
