I didn't get the normal update notification either but followed the std update steps and it was available and took about 10mins.

I haven't had my ipad on since March 2020 when Covid hit and I quit traveling. I had it charged up and the last time it was upgraded was 12.5.7 !!! Gonna' take awhile.

Now if Apple would forward an update to get my Wifi chip in my new M2 Pro Mac Mini to stop cutting in and out, I'd be happy.
