Keep your chin up brother. You are doing good!

Brought my Kubota tractor home from being on a family job for several months. Did some work on the rotary mower and removed it. Back in the shop waiting for snow.
Been burning wood for a month so split more wood and topped off the woodshed.
Installed running boards on the wifes new T4R.
Bought a ton of Pellets and hauled home and unloaded on the covered porch. Waiting for real winter to arrive.

Monitoring the hot stove a little bit but my Mariners perpetually suck. Razz

Talked with my youngest daughter on her 49th birthday. Always a good nostalgic walk down memory lane.
Very thankful to still have all of them.

Working this weekend. Sitting in ATL now on a broke jet waiting for maintenance. Tomorrow headed into St Thomas then Miami. Hopefully home by Sunday. Kicking around some thoughts for an article I’m writing, although it’s hard to work on that stuff in spurts.

Met the girl (woman) I took to my high school prom 50 years ago for coffee this afternoon. Unbelievably, she tracked me down and suggested we meet up. We had a terrific, 90 minute long conversation and agreed to meet up again the next time she was in town. Anything that transpires for the rest of the weekend will pale in comparison.

The wife and I ate seafood ramen soup. We ate four packages of ramen since she returned from Taiwan last week, maybe 8% of our stash, LoL. While she was in TW I bought a Corningware P-315-B loaf pan, and a P-17-B double boiler that fits in the CW P-2 1/2-B dish. Such excitement! I will use the double boiler for the chocolate filling of the traditional Thanksgiving chocolate pie. I may make a butterscotch pie also.

I am interested in the Tyson v Paul scrap but am too cheap to pay and not motivated enough to go to a bar.

No real excitement but no real difficulty. The door lock actuator on the SUV needs replacing but the time and money are available for that.

Breakfast in the morning with my church guys. Then off to the 1pm Marshall vs Coastal Carolina football game with my brother.
Church on Sunday, then off to pick up some patio furniture, and also picking up daughter from the airport. Visiting my 86 year old Mom on the way back, who is in assisted living; taking her a new pair of shoes that she wanted.
Back to work on Monday.

Some of yall are way more organized than I am.

Today I took my Dad to get an IV, ran up to work during that. Stopped by the bank to get him some cash. Had my youngest with me so we went to Walmart for some clothes this morning beforehand because her mom dropped her off in a tank top and skirt, in 55 degree weather. Also swept the house and washed his dishes this morning. Grabbed her McDonald’s before picking my dad up. Stopped at Waffle House after his fluids. Came home, chopped up 6-8 pumpkins for the cows, fed and watered the quail and turtles. Cleaned off the porch. Rode her on the side by side cause she loves it. Took her back to her mom’s house. Sorted through a large flat rate box of brass then fed/played with both dogs. Sat with my dad for 30 minutes then got ready for bed.

Difference? None of that was planned. I didn’t know what I was gonna do this morning.

Y’all’s level of preparation makes me jealous.

I'm headed to San Antonio with friends to take my mom (84yo) out to lunch at Max & Louie's New York Delicatessen. I'm looking forward to seeing her almost as much as I'm looking forward to a hot pastrami and a bowl of matzo ball soup!

I've had a great day today.

My birthday. Getting closer to living in GeezerVille on Old Fart Avenue.

Perhaps a new version of Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet:

Livin' on Fiber and sugar free low fat sponge cake,
watching the hawt grannies covered in Oil.

Wasting away again in Geezerville, searching for my lost shaker of Metamucil.
Drivin' my Go-Go-Geezer-Golf-Cart around looking for hawt Grannies,
Wanna go for a ride (wink wink)

Some people claim there's a woman to blame (yep that's true)
But I know it's my own damn fault

Livin' in Geezerville, sippin' my Margarita,

Tuned into SigForum to see what's up
Realizing that Life is indeed good after all

Better go clean my P226,
See what Para and the online family is up to

Yall have a great day in YourVille
Life is still good and to be treasured

(with apologies to Jimmy Buffet and the rest of us Parrot Heads.)

Beautiful day in this area gentlemen. Got my flags up, though both are in need of replacement at this point.

Gonna take it easy today. Simple errands and work around here with the animals.

Happy Birthday OKC!

That orange looks sharp, man!
I've been staring at a couple of potential Streamlight add-ons for the old 870... it has become the "house gun." It's been to the trap range, too. Talk about looking out of place! Big Grin Runs like a champ, though!

God bless America.
