CPAP Users, What Is Your Preferred Mask?

PASigCPAP Users, What Is Your Preferred Mask?
I started on CPAP therapy February 1 of this year and went through several masks before I found one I liked and have been using for a while now. Lately it seems like I'm having issues again with leaking which I think is primarily from how I like to shift from sleeping on my back to my sides numerous times a night. It's just how I sleep and I notice my oldest son, age 7 later this month does the exact same.
Been using the ResMed AirFit F30 but recently switched to the AirFit F20 and it seems to keep a good seal even with moving around and the straps do not get all tangled up like the F30 seems to do, each night I have to go through this ritual of untangling them before I put it on.
What masks do you all like?
This was what I had been using (AirFit F30):
This is what I recently switched to (AirFit F20):

RinehartI did the same, tried a few different ones and found the AirFit F20 worked best for me.
Most people I know who also have sinus challenges and sleep apnea say anything other than a mask that covers BOTH nose and mouth is a waste of time.
If you use only the nose mask as soon as you open your mouth...

I can't use a nasal mask and wouldn't even if I could. The CPAP forums are full of people trying to tape their mouths shut, trying to use straps to hold their mouth shut, etc
Ummmm...just get a mask that covers your mouth.
I have a severely deviated septum and can't breath just through my nose, I just can't get enough air, it's got to be a full face for me.

bald1Sorry you have to have a full coverage mask....
I use a Respironics Dreamwear nasal cushion with improved headgear which replaced my long time use of a Respironics ComfortGel Blue Nasal Mask. Huge improvement.

Same here. I hated the first couple masks but the Phillips Dreamwear gel nasal pillows have worked out well.

downtownvThis is like asking what type of woman you like, you'll get a 1000 diferent answers. However masks need to fit correctly, women not so much!
Also a HINT: most people OVER tighten their masks, they need to be able to "inflate" thus allowing for a seal to occur.

lechiffreI did the opposite of what you did.
I switched from the F20 (over nose) to the F30 (under nose). It gives me a better seal, and it's not making me crosseyed. I still suffer from dry eyes because of the leakage, but it's not as bad as it was.

RETTOPI started out using a Resmed Liberty Mirage mask with nasal pillows and used that for nearly 5 years. I have a beard and mustache and this was the mask recommended by the technician where I got my first CPAP.
About a year ago, I switched to the Resmed Airfit 30. It seals better than the Liberty mask and the face/nasal cushion seems to last a lot longer than the Liberty. My wife has commented that it's also a lot quieter than the Liberty.
I don't use a full face mask because I read every night before going to sleep.
