400mArmor all wipes are horrible!
The wife brought these home today and I thought I’d try it on my dash. Now I need you good folks to tell me how to get that garbage off and what to put on there.

RichardCDon't be so coy ... what seems to be the problem?

egregoreThe damnable stuff causes a sheen that reflects in your windshield and makes the dash all sticky and gooey.

BeancookerWipe with alcohol to remove Armor Garbage.
For interior, I use Griots Garage Speed Shine. I know it’s an exterior detailer, but I haven’t found anything better for the interior.

400mRichardC it left the dash very blotchy. I could not get that stuff even.

tatortodd303 is great but it’s the 2nd step (ie need to use a cleaner first). OP is going to need to use an interior plastic cleaner to get the Armor All crap off. Then, follow up with a protectant like 303z
I clean mine frequently enough (and I don’t have children) that 2 trips around the truck (cleaner then protector) is a waste of time. I use an all-in-one product that cleans and protects.
Been using this Meguiar’s product and am satisfied.

I just use the cleaner. I don't add anything to make it shiny. This stuff should work to remove the armor all.

Another vote for 303 protectant, great on tires…no fake shine, just max UV protection.
Lastly, I use it on our outside (southern exposure…lot of Sun). I spray 303 and wipe it around. Generator is 14 yrs old and looks brand new. No fading, no dried out rubber or fiberglass.

goose5I used Armor All once. Looks nice but my windows on the inside kept fogging up. Any of these products mentioned adds to interior fog?

I find 303 to be more of satin product so it's not shiny. It's not matte either. Just a nice in between.

BigJoeLooking on Amazon for the 303 products. Seems to be several. Which one are you using for like the dash and inside of the door trim?

This is the 303 version that I use . Works on interior plastics and exterior plastics (FYI - it's great for keeping exterior black trim from fading).
If you're looking for a good interior cleaner,
this P&S product is the one I use when I use a separate cleaner and protectant. Amazon's $13.99 price is a little high right now as it's
$8.80 at AutoGeek.

gocatgo303 on everything that sees the sun. Anything remotely like plastic. Car, truck, kayaks, canoe, etc. Tires. Even garden cart tires last longer. "I put that shit on everything".
Armor All is pure crap.

sigspecops303 is a great for UV protection. Mequires, Adams and Chemical Guys make some good interior cleaning and protecting products too.
