Women’s intuition
The night I proposed to my wife there was only one other couple seated in that room. It was called the cozy room and I think there were only 6 booths in there. The other couple were situated where the wife was facing me and the husbands back was to me. I’m guessing they were in their early 50’s. I noticed the woman glancing over a few times but didn’t pay much attention to her. That is until I started my speech and well before I got on one knee. I saw her hold her hand up to interrupt her husband talking because she wanted to watch. She knew and I could tell she did. The smile and the way her eyes opened and her focus. I don’t know how in the heck she knew but she did. It was almost eerie. What is it with women?

There is only one woman, and she came form the flesh/side of one man.

And in the time it happened, we are subject to them knowing, no matter which way we choose to turn, they know as the "side" tenses, before the movement to any direction occurs.

The sooner a young man figures it out, the sooner he can start snatching pebbles*.

You are a wise man sir, and I wish I had learned it sooner, thankfully I still have half of the half that I once owned.

A young man, newly graduated from college, approaches his Dad.

"Dad, my girlfriend and I are wanting to get married. What does it cost to get married?"

Dad replies "I don't know son; I'm still paying for it."

Love. We know it when we see it.

Women are a mystery...
It's probably better that way.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Once upon a time, in a very small town in Texas, my wife and I went into a Radio Shack (that long ago) for batteries. Immediately after entering, she began to shiver and said, "We have to go. Now!" We left, and walked down to the bowling alley for a burger. On the way back, we passed by the store again and the local cops were setting up a crime scene. Turns out the place had been robbed and the clerk shot. On the way home, she told me I needed to start carrying my revolver. I didn't tell her, but I had it in a butt pack under my square tail shirt.
