Wordle (word game). Don’t give spoilers! (Please)
Was missing one letter for the final three attempts. Finally got it on the sixth attempt.

Busted, too many possibilities and I'd never have guessed it anyway.

Busted as well, same as P250UA5.

Whiffed. As did everybody I usually confer with.
One lost a 486 day streak.

Three. Pretty easy today.

I guess yesterday's wordle sparked a lot of anger.

"Every now and then there's a Wordle that's so difficult it ends thousands of streaks in one go. Today's Wordle is one of them.

According to WordleBot, the New York Times' in-game helper tool, puzzle #1,214 has an average score of 5.7. That makes it the hardest since October 2022 and indeed the third hardest ever. Inevitably, avid Wordlers took to Twitter (or X, whatever) to share their stories of woe with the world. 'Wordle 1,214 X' is trending top of the social platform right now as the complaints pour in. ..."

Could have had it in three but swapped a green tile for a grey one twice.

Got it in 2 today! Off to get a PowerBall ticket. LOL
After yesterday's whiff this was a nice way to start the day.

Interesting that people get so worked up about this.

In addition to Wordle, I also do the NYT Connections game. Lately, it has had some weird word combinations, and one day last week, just like with Wordle on Monday, a lot of people busted and took to social media to vent their outrage.

Took 5. Don't think I ever used that word but have seen it in print.

I might have solved it today if I could have had one more guess. Got 3 letters with opening word, none in order. 2nd through 6th I had those 3 in the correct spots but made 5 wrong guesses in a row. ARRRGH
