ZSMICHAELReccomendations for Vibration Massager
For sore muscles after a workout or just for aches and pains. What ones are reccomended. Not the massagers sold in Walmart by the kids toothbrushes. Thanks

CooksterBoth of my children are athletic and competitive in soccer, T&F, pole vaulting, X-C, diving and alpine ski racing and we bought each of them a LifePro
Sonic Handheld Percussion Massage Gun which they each use constantly and have held up well over the years.
I think we were able to get a decent deal on them during an Amazon Prime sales event.

konata88Not sure what body parts but I've found this to be very effective on the legs and arms and even back.
It's great for getting out muscle knots. It hurts but then it provides great relief. Especially great for tight shins and calves. YMMV.

it is unlikely that you'll get recommendations for vibration massager over percussive, as they just aren't as effective.
Following the advice of massage therapist and chiropractors, I ended up getting the Hyperice Hypervolt

SigSentryI picked the Bally percussion massager as my annual appreciation gift (BL1740-BLK). I don't see it on Amazon. Good for those shin and calf cramps I'm thinking. They've come quite a ways since the jigsaw days.
Comparable product. They're all made in The same factory.

I got one of those for my wife for use on her calf to help her Achilles tendinitis and sh says it’s super powerful and intense. Not cheap but seems to be good quality.

I have the exact same one. Wife convinced me to get it (“if you don’t like it you can return it”). I was having a bad time with my back, and a couple days of her using this on my back and I was feeling exponentially better.

Same here, cry once. Very good and you don’t need anything more powerful than the base model. The bad model has plenty of power.

True, since athletics embraced the quicker recovery and better performance of the percussion they are what's generally offered.
My hair stylist used to use a hand held vibrating massage unit on my shoulders after a hair cut.

Fla. JimI have over the years used about every hand held vibration device available for my arthritis and muscle pains. The one I am currently using is a percussion hand held that gets used according to my “Google Fu” by a lot of therapists. And after a year of hard, very hard use it works as new.
