I agree with you in general, but it depends on the nature of the event. If this “men’s event” was a celebration of manhood, and he goes for a photo op basically saying “look at me, I’m a man’s man”, then it’s probably fair to give him a little ridicule.

If the event was to encourage men to start working out, and he never has, then it’s not fair to ridicule him. That would be more like making fun of people’s appearances.

I wonder if he knows how to change an air filter?

I don't give a crap what a politician looks like, who they choose to sleep with, or how much they can bench press. All I care about is the policies they choose to pursue.

As to the comments above, if he doesn’t understand how photo ops work both ways then he is an idiot.

If he’s stupid enough to go to a photo op and fail missable at something he should have direct knowledge about- His physical strength.

Whether he can bench press 135 lbs. is itself irrelevant. But being willing to be filmed knowing he can't do it, failing at it and making a fool of himself in the process shows a major lack of judgement. That’s not even 135, those look to be 35 lb plates, so this socialist islamo-nazi beta can’t even bench 115 lbs. This is a worse look than that fool, swallwell, benching 135 lbs, claiming that he’s “pumping iron”.

If he had been surreptitiously recorded at the gym without his knowledge I would agree with not caring that he can’t move 115 pounds without help, but this clown chose to make it a media event so he deserves all the ridicule he receives over this.
