46and2Battlefield Earth is probably the worst big budget type film I've ever seen.

PluguglyI can't recall the original title, but it was re-released as "Ablaze"
Something to do with cops and firefighters. Unwatchable. Had Tom Arnold and Ice-T in it.

cusingeorgeThe Shape of Things to Come, not based on the book, at all.
Jack Palance gets bonked on the head with a styrofoam prop, at least that part was funny.
My tongue swore, but my mind was still unpledged.

fpuhanIf you look at all the movies offered on the services these days, it quickly becomes apparent that truly good movies are the rarity.
You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

Terrance Malick movies are usually something of a meditation or perhaps a lecture rather than a typical movie. The Thin Red Line is actually one of my favorite movies, but I totally get it that it's not a movie many people would enjoy.

Oh, by the way, which one's "Pink?" April 24, 2020, 08:48 PM
Fredward"The Pack" starring Joe Don Baker. A movie about feral, sick dogs eating people on an island. I walked out before the people eating, when the dogs were eating horses. It was so bad it was the ONLY ENGLISH LANGUAGE movie where I lived in Germany and I still left. The wife and I still joke about it.

darthfusterHook. I got up to leave and dropped my wallet. Could not find it on the floor anywhere. Didn't have a light. No matter where I looked I could not find my wallet so I had to sit through the whole piece of dung movie so I could recover my wallet when the lights came on. Miserable.

jonremMy wife made me watch “Motherhood” with Uma Thurman once. She turned it off after 20 minutes. It only grossed $50,000 at the box office. They should give those people their money back - and hazard pay.

FWIW, a lot of those movies aren't that bad unless you are a picky critic.

NuclearThe Quiet Earth - so bad that even though my wife and I have an ongoing argument about the last scene, we can't rent it to end the argument.
Out of Africa - Meryl Streep's WORST performance, she makes the scenes where Robert Redford shows up enjoyable by comparison
The Informant - I walked out, got an adult beverage, finished the drink and STILL couldn't watch the rest of the film.

nhtagmemberI am glad I'm not the only one who found Out of Africa intolerable
if they could have had a movie with just the scenery and no actors, it would have been great
