Johnny 3eaglesI had a BENDABLE moment today.
I check my Glucose level every morning. Load my lancet into the lancing device, puncture the skin, take the blood sample and using my Glucose Meter, get my reading. This morning the tail cap on the end of the lancing device flew off, launching the cap and spring. Cap was broken after 13 years of daily use. No sweat, I'll go buy another one.
Went to Walgreens pharmacy, looked around, couldn't find them. Young store employee asked me if I needed any assistance.
Yes, I'm looking for one of those
FINGER STICKY SPRINGY PUSH BUTTON THINGS. I absolutely have no idea where that came from.
She must have been a Bendable relative, because she knew exactly what I was looking for.

HRKThink if I had to use the FINGER STICKY SPRINGY PUSH BUTTON THINGS might look into getting the doc to write a script for the Freestyle Libre 2.
You attach a disk to your arm, side, and it works for I think a week or 10 days, collecting your sugar levels, you can check it at anytime with the app on your BT phone.

Those devices are mostly for use by those who prick their fingers 4 or more times a day and take insulin at least 3 times a day. They are good for 2 weeks, I think. I'm a once a day reader so don't qualify for one.

HRKMy understanding from a few friends that have it, and are not multi pickers per day if the doc prescribes it and the insurance agrees to pay you can get it, there is no rule on the number of pricks per day
