Tgrshrk99High Yield Savings Accounts (online banks)
We have one from AmEx and one from Capital One. They are FDIC insured. Never had a problem or a worry about them.

Lineman101We have an Openbank account that we opened through Verizon Wireless. It pays 3.8% and we also receive a 15.00 credit on our cell bill monthly. Not too bad.

StorminNorminI thought of them but haven’t used them. I have some money in a local bank CD currently at 3.55% and they are basically no penalty. You only would lose the interest of that month if you took money out early. I like it because it is a brick and mortar just a couple miles away.
I have a 401K professionally managed by Fidelity and I think they have high interest savings that I might look into.

Skins2881I use Robinhood sweep fixed account for 3.35% and WMPXX in my other brokerage account. For my regular savings account I actually don't have it in an interest bearing account, which is stupid because I keep a decent amount of cash outside of my brokerage accounts.
I think I need to ask my bank about high yield savings or transfer my savings to my brokerage account until actually needed.
