Can the school I'm attending now see what schools I went to before and the amounts awarded to those schools while I attended those schools?

I don't want it to have an influence on how much I could potentially get.

From reading this:

http://time.com/money/4124705/fafsa-listing-colleges/

It seems like it cannot:

quote:
To prevent future abuses, starting with the 2016-17 FAFSA, the U.S. Department of Education will no longer share your list of colleges with the schools receiving your FAFSA data. But your list will still be available to state aid agencies, and some states require that students list an in-state public college first to qualify for state aid. So the order in which you list your colleges remains important for financial-aid purposes.

There is no order for me as I'm already attending the school.

I want to be prepared for when I run out of Post 9/11 GI Bill money (I'm going to a private school) and when Yellow Ribbon is maxed. I don't want to take a term off and wait for the new school year to reset.
