It wasn't for a ton of loot so I'm satisfied outing these scammers for the $22 they got from me.

I ordered two sets of Apple wired earpods because they're the only ones I've tried that fit and sound decent for less than $50.

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Appl...-MD827LL-A/197461098

I just figured they were blowing them out because the Airpods came out and didn't think they'd be fake. Counterfeiting friggen earbuds is like counterfeiting $1 bills. It ain't worth the risk, is it?

They are lighter than the OEM version, the buttons have an audible click that the OEM doesn't and they don't quite sound as good. Kinda tinny like an $11 pair of earbuds do.

I reported them as counterfeit to both Apple and Walmart.

Always read the customer reviews.

The reviews indicate that these are counterfeit.

Thanks, friend. I did figure out that my old real Apple earbuds weren't broken, only clogged.

Ew.

I sleep on them. Eek

It seems it's a common issue because if you look up "Apple Earpods louder on one side" you get results to tell you to clean the wax off of them.

I thought Walmart sold the things on their site but I was wrong. I was looking to get a new knife but saw it was sold by a third party. After reading the reviews, I will not be ordering a thing on that site unless it is actually sold by Walmart.

Same with Amazon. Much of what them "sell" is not sold by Amazon, but by 3rd party vendors.

Apple might care. Walmart -- wanna bet?

counterfeits are on their prohibited items list but you're probably right.

The difference is that Amazon will refund your money. Walmart leaves you to deal with the vendor.

You used a credit card right? Call them and have them do a chargeback.

My credit union debit card. I'll call them and ask if they will do a charge back.

mark123,

You really need to sanity check your use of a debit card. Not anywhere near the protections a credit card has. For ATM withdrawals sure. Anything else.... nada.

Yeah, a lot of the stuff sold on the Wallyworld site is actually sold by the "suppliers".

AIR, they have statements/comments that say something like, "sold and shipped by supplier".

This right here. Do NOT use a debit card online. Period.
