Last night, new 2021 F150 revealed. It’s nice, but at first glance I mistook it for a gmc. I do like the foldable shifter feature. Definitely not too excited about the weak electric/hybrid. Overall, imo, a very conservative update. I hoped for more. I have a 2018 Platinum that is a very nice truck with lots of features. I do like the new dash with the 'Yuge' television. I wonder if it is a QLED or an OLED screen? The 12” screen was first available in the Ram several years ago... The truck I have now will probably last me another 20 years, but I do miss all of the convenience and style of the F-150. This upgrade looks fantastic. | |||

Looks quite nice. My '16 F150 was a good truck, apart from the squeaky/rattly sunroof. The Enemy's gate is down. | |||

All trucks are looking the same. I think the GMC looks like a Ram and now the Ford will look even more like them both, especially with the rear fender badging. | |||

Yep, and what Ford just announced for the F150 is nothing that will make people choose it specifically over its competitors. Evolution? Nah, just another Ford vehicle that's losing its lead. I'd predict RAM numbers continue to climb as Ford's continue to plateau if not fall. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. In Ford’s defense, it’s basically the same truck as the 2015 model. It’s not a complete redesign. The Ram was redesigned for 2019. I wouldn't bank on it. Its been quite a while since Ford had a real consumer level winner. I personally waited for five years for an American Ranger to finally be made available and after driving it and waiting to see what the quality aspect looked like, I walked away from ever buying one. That's why I hold little hope for the upcoming (at some point in the next five years) Bronco. Also, look where Ford falls on this JD Power ranking. I like it particularly for the hybrid engine option. I swear, I'm the only person in the world that wants a hybrid pickup. Does everyone just hate power and fuel economy? Or is it just resistance to change? I don't get it. | |||
