I'm not that seasoned, mid-fifties, but I already suffer from CRS to some extent. For those that don't know the acronym, that's "can't remember shit".

BUT, I have noticed that this year and last I have very little difficulty with moving the year forward whenever written. It's 2018, I know it, and I write it. It seems that in years past I'd suffer for days or weeks unintentionally writing the old year whenever I wrote a date until it finally sunk in.

I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

For the first month of a new year I write the previous year on all correspondence. I'm testing everyone else you see. A test, yes that's it, a fine test indeed...

No it is just you. A recent study did indicate that exercise does help with mild cognitive disorder.

If tomorrow/someday never comes, how can it even be 2018 already? ... myth busted

Just turned 59 today and I've done this past years. I havn't had to write the new year yet. The year is young.

I write very little, nearly no checks, but have labeled a few docs and pics on the laptop with the correct date. 2018 is the Year Of Awareness, it seems.

Actually, I was writing 2018 when it was still 2017.

But, I think it might be that we don't right the date as often as we did in the past, and maybe it does not become "habit", or we see the date more than we used to in print and on phones and such, that we "get up to speed" faster.

Or, it could be aliens.

Just the thought that those born in 2000 are now going to be old enough to vote makes me feel really old.

I've had CRS since about the day I popped out of the oven, so, no: Becoming a "seasoned citizen" hasn't been a problem in that particular respect
