Did anyone else attend the OGCA show today? If so, what was your impression?

I did renew my membership through 2028 today.

I was there from 9:30-11:30.

The primary parking lot was packed when I arrived and I parked in the back row.

Very crowded upon entrance.

I did not see as much buying as I would have expected.

Nice variety of guns, old and new. Nice selection of knives including Randall, Chris Reeves among them.

Pricing seemed reasonable on most items.

I was a little surprised at the number of empty tables, more so to the right as you enter.

I thought I might see more pistol braces for sale before the anticipated 120 days begins, on or about 01.31.23.

If you attended, what are your thoughts?

Well, I dropped my membership after the last heart surgery.

But I wonder if the flashlight sales guy was still offering his updated 8000 watt flashlights. The one I'm still using was probably 15 years old and is still great. But if its really that much better than the 3000 watt one I've got, I think I'd splurge just to have it.

If you are referring to the gentleman who sold Fenix lights, he was not there.

I have not seen him is quite some time.

He use to be in the back right hand corner as you walked into the show.

I bought quite a few lights from him over the years.

Holler if you ever feel up to going, I will be happy to take you.
