Hmmm. For $200 I can replace my craftsman 3 gallon compressor.

Tempting

I got mine about a week ago, it's much more convenient than pulling out the compressor hose.

I have the Dewalt version of this. It never leaves my truck. I have aluminum rims that don't play well with most tires so you get bead leaks. I have stopped on the road to air a tire every month or so. Can't stand driving with a low tire light even though I know it's just low and not a flat. Also great for filling all the toys used on the lake.

Its hard to tell from the pictures but is the M18 small enough to keep in your truck or car trunk? I bought a Dewalt inflator last Christmas but it didn't last even though I only used it a hand of of times. Fortunately I was able to return it to Lowes for a refund. I like to keep my own air compressor in my car so if I need air I'm not hunting for a gas station.

I have the Ryobi version of this, which lives in my vehicle full time. Has come in handy countless times, helping out folks with slow leaks, or flat spares, or just airing up my own tire when the temps change and a tire pressure light comes on.

Just picked 1 up for our household. Don't forget that if you're a veteran they will take another $19.90 off the order!

I got mine for the times I go off roading and drop my tire pressure. It’s a PITA to have to borrow someone’s compressor or air tank and even worse dealing with gas station inflators that may or may not be working.

I usually carry a canvas USAF flight bag of tools that I throw in the back of the Jeep. Snatch strap, D rings, soft hooks, assorted tools and a Snap On battery impact for off road emergencies of mine or others.

Trying to justify the purchase, if nothing else it adds 2 more batteries.

Um, yeah, right, flat spares. Don't ask me how I know about flat spares.

I now carry a ViAir 12 volt compressor in my car and truck.

Thanks for the heads up. I have plenty of M18 tools and this is a nice addition at a great price.

Plenty small enough, it's around the size of a 20 or 25 pound hex dumbell if that helps.
