Went to pick up a few things this morning. Shelves were noticeably emptier, but not bare. No honey on the shelf though. Thought that was a little weird.

Yes, it's panic buying shenanigans strategically promoted by the news media. That doesn't change the fact that your Ass will be without toilet paper if there is a shortage. Smile

Do we manufacture and stock all the parts to keep TP manufacturing facilities up and running in case they break down?
Is there anything else in the supply chain that, if interrupted, would affect TP production? These are hard questions the American people need answers to. Big Grin

All I can say is fuck them them all.. Fire the entire industry and start over..Plenty of people would love to make 40 a hour plus benes!!!!!

Fuck these people with a sideways cactus. Before OT as individuals they earn over the median income in the US for a family. With OT they are in the 95th percentile.

It took me 30 years of working to break $40 per hour range and I will probably never reach in my life what they earn what they currently earn with OT.

I hope they price themselves out of a job and robots take their jobs.

Yes. I doubt it is shipped from overseas.

Haven't looked up what these dudes bring home, apparently its a good bit.

I spent twenty years in the union down in south Florida. We did okay pay-wise, probably much better than the average non-union guy though none of us were living in Fat City. The union school hired a young girl to help with clerical, I overheard two apprentices talking during a break.

First kid: "Man you seen the new girl at the school? She's hot!"

Second kid: "Yeah, I found an excuse to go in the office last week, asked her out while I was there. She told me she doesn't date blue collar workers."

I bought bidet hose attachments for 2 of our toilets during the great TP run of 2020. Has a valve that attaches to the toilet inlet and supply line so no plumbing work necessary. Not only does it cut down significantly on paper use it’s quite refreshing. Highly recommend!
