We have our DTV services bundled with Century Link. When we first called them this morning they couldn't find us in their system. Luckily we had our Century Link bill that had the DTV Account number on it. We do not have AT&T cell service. They asked if we wanted to switch, we declined and still received received the $60 off per month and Showtime for 4 months.

Our US based rep was very nice. When she saw my address was in CO, she told me how she used to live in Wellington, CO and her kids live in Peyton, CO.

I will say it is very nice to talk to US based CSRs.

Just got $50 off for 12 months on the Total Bill with an additional $7 off for six months because I have a STARZ Channel package.

My Customer Rep said it wasn't a Holiday Promotion but a Loyalty Promotion available for customers who call in and request it.

Thank you for posting this! I got $60 off my monthly bill for the next 12 months starting next month. They also offered to do a new equipment upgrade, but that comes with a contract renewal and the $60 off did not so I passed on the equipment upgrade. They also said I was on a grandfathered channel package and they could get me on a similar package for less, but some channels are different. I told them I will look into it later so I can see which channels are different as the wife would kill me if one of her channels disappear that I don’t know she likes.

OP, thanks so much for this tip. My wife called and after about 10 minutes of chatting, we ended up getting $55/month off our Directv bill AND $15/month off our AT&T cell phone bill. We also got HBO added free, I'm not sure if it was 4 or 6 months.

Still trying to get through, I have been on hold for over an hour now.

I just put the phone on speaker phone and plugged the charger in.

I will give it a bit more, then I might try and call in again.

I certainly could use the extra $$$ and keep ATT from getting it...

I called tonight. Was already getting a $50 per month discount because I called in May and threatened to leave them. Tonight they offered to extend that six more months and increased it to a $70 per month discount.

The gal I talked to said they've been swamped and it was never a promotion, just someone posted the info on social media and it blew up. She was nice about it, but I could tell it's gotten out of control.

Thanks TXJim. Our contract is up in March. I had already started doing research with the intent to cut the cord.

I called DTV about 3 months ago and was able to reduce the fee from $90 down to $60. I thought that was pretty good. I called yesterday and they dropped it down from $60 to $15 dollars per month.

$15 per month!!! There is no way I could stream for that price. We have a very basic service level and only watch about 6 hours of TV per week. But it fits our lifestyle.

Thanks again, saved us over $500 per year.
