French lockdown protest song: Danser Encore
One of the most French things I've seen in a while, and I mean that as a compliment.

Protesting with style (turn on the subtitles, they're in English):

And if you're just going to make snarky comments about the French or France, kindly zip it and leave.

What's a "chord grid" as used in the phrase "Spend our lives on a chord grid"?
Is the French word not translating properly in the subtitles?

My French is merde, but I think he's referring to sheet music / chord charts / scores, so I suspect he means spending ones life immersed in the music or something of the sort.

Isn't a chord grid those lines you write musical notes on? So it seems he's talking about staying within the lines. Sort of like when we say when we color, stay inside the lines. Just my guess.
