Mercedes-Benz has to be the top dog in that department, imo. Every sedan I've seen, every SUV, man, how can their designers come up with such shit, I wonder. Even their sports cars, ugh. On top of that, they made them even tackier with that huge front logo on their late models.
Regarding the huge front logo, it looks like Acura is doing that, too. Ugly new fad, it appears.
What's your pick?

sjtillNot imported here, but in Europe it has to be Citroen among the big manufacturers. Fiat has some lulus too.
In the past 5 years Toyota, once a company of conservative styling, started putting huge "spindle" grills on their cars; and then BMW started it too.
BMW used to be classic in styling, now they are coming out with a bunch of different models that do not maintain any continuity of styling in the marque. VW has done that with their electrified cars.
One company that still seems to care about styling that is instantly attractive and hold its appeal over time is Mazda.

12131Agree with Citroen and Fiat. And the ridiculous grill on the late Toyota / Lexus.

egregoreToyota, still.
This thread from 2019 is no less true today. Everybody made and makes fun of the Pontiac Aztek, but put it next to a CH-R and it looks ahead of its time. Hyundai SUVs seem to be emulating the giant grilles of the Lexus.
Somebody who has
improved their cars' and trucks' appearance is, of all people, Nissan. But little three-cylinder turbo engines and CVT transmissions? No sale.

CandyMan.45Nissan with that plastic & chrome crap on their c-pillars. And now all of their so called SUVs all look the same !

arfmelSubaru and Toyota top the list. Ridiculously ugly styling. I have an intense dislike for black plastic crap on vehicle exteriors.

BMW not far behind. Black wheels that make a car look dirty and show all the scrapes. Ugly colors topped by the "primer gray" and flat black. Two tone seats of red mixed with black.

I agree with all of you... it's the times we're living in.
Cars used to be much more stylish.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

stickman428I gotta go with BMW. The company used to make good looking cars but they have lost their damn way in the styling department.
The current M3/M4 has a pig nose. The 2 series looks like a kid designed it to look like a cardboard box was the major design inspiration.
They even ruined the “so different it’s kinda neat” asymmetrical S1000RR by making it symmetrical and similar to every single Japanese sport bike on the market. It used to look iconic now it looks like everything else out there.

nshumwayMercedes, BMW, Lexus/Toyota with the grilles- absolutely the worst.
I recently did not replace a leased BMW because of the ginormous light up grille on the new one.
Hopefully they come to their senses but I have doubts.

You're right!
Although Subaru has made nothing but uggo's nearly since Day One, every manufacturer has followed them.
I think stickman428 was including BMW bikes in his comment, and he's right, too, and I'll throw Harley on top of that pile of shit.

Fly-SigDramatic grills are about the only way for a brand to visually distinguish themselves these days. Fuel economy and safety standards make it impossible to have different overall geometries. One used to be able to identify the brand instantly from the general shape.
