| I just tried Vroom. The buy price for my vehicle is exactly the same as Dealer trade in. |

| I sold to Carvana. It went superbly. They were much higher than Vroom. Just depends on the car and the timing I suppose. Very pleased with the whole experience. And though it was well maintained, and low mileage, I got WAY too much for that car. |

| quote: Apparently dealers are getting really desperate for newer used cars and case in point is this local place near me. He's like a small local version CarMax and specializes in Toyotas, he goes to the big auto auction in Manheim, PA and buys cars off lease and former rentals so everything is 1-3 years old on average. The guy usually has a lot of Camry's, Siennas, SUV's etc sitting on his lot but the other day I drove past and was shocked at how few cars he actually had. I thought maybe he was going out of business or something but my FIL is friends with him and told me last night that local car dealers are sending flatbed trailers there and snapping up everything he gets as soon as he gets it.
This is NUTS
I’ve been getting letters from the dealership I bought my 2017 used Camry from two years ago wanting to buy it back. KBB is now higher than I paid for it. |

| I just sold my 2019 1ton dually for way more then I paid for it 15 months ago. I put on 19,000 miles on it. I heard about the computer chip issue and checked around at local dealers. Carvana was one place I got a quote from. They offered me 7 thousand less then one dealer, 10 thousand less then the dealer I ended up selling it to. I ended up buying an Outback to replace my truck.
