My wife says it Eastern Star.
The white dress is "Ester" and she's one of the " star points ".

The Eastern Star is the Masonic Lodge for women.

Where did it go after she passed? A better pic would be very helpful.

Unfortunately we never found the necklace and this is the only picture.

Sounds like something that would be buried with her.

Looks very 70’s and very cult-y to me which was an era for that kind of thing.

It’s Masonic based on the surroundings. That is a Masonic lodge. Eastern star is the organization in which some wives of masons participate. Do you know if her husband was a mason?

Almost certainly officer jewels from a chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

As such, it would not have belonged to your Aunt - it would belong to the chapter.

As a 15 year Freemason, I'll confirm that's an eastern star officer installation.

I very much appreciate getting an answer to what was a mystery to us. My aunt was such a wonderful caring women who died to early thanks to COVID. My aunt is the one in the yellow dress to the right of the one in the middle.
