When they stopped carrying my deodorant at the grocery store, it was because it was being discontinued. I could have bought it online for a few months more but they eventually ran out of it too. So you should start looking for new brands to try out. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Paten,
I need a special skin sensitive deodorant and have been buying it online for years. Just recently I had to buy our favorite syrup on line as no local supermarkets carry it. Maybe a Covid thing?

Kroger and CVS used to carry about 4 brands of deodorant but now carry only one. Target is no better.
There was a GUM dental floss that you could buy pretty much anywhere 5-6 years ago. Now the stores only carry the Glide stuff (useless). I had to order dental floss from the manufacturer last week. WTF?

Even if I can find it in stores, I find it's usually noticeably cheaper to buy stuff like soap/deoderant/etc. in bulk online.
Buy a 6 pack or 8 pack, and stick it in the bathroom closet. It's not like it goes bad. And you'll often save money in the long run.

Barbasol discontinued my favorite shaving cream (Arctic Chill) a few years ago. I bought about 12 cans from various places before the stock ran out. Sadly, I'm now down to my very last can.
As a retailer I hate doing it. But living in rural America there are just some things I can't get in the store. Mint flavor Rolaids? Nope, they have fruit flavor at our local stores. Ralston Hot Cereal. Not anywhere so I order it on line. I just needed a VGA to HDMI adapter. local computer store down the street not only didn't have one, they told me they didn't make them. So yup, online.

I’ve had to resort to buying calcium online. As of the last few months, neither grocery stores or the drug store have it anymore. Used to buy a bottle just before running out. Now I buy several months supply online.
