HK AgVoted
My kids were in town from college this Sunday so we went to vote as a family.
4 votes against the Harris County Commandante!
4 votes for every R judge/justice down ballot
4 votes for Texas Statewide office holding conservative incumbents.
Suck it Beto!

ffipsCurrently standing in line. Didn't realize the polls open at 0900.
The lady in front of me talking on her phone needed to go get her coat. Complained of being cold but afraid to lose her place on line. I told her I would hold her spot. Now it's starting to look like she left or is sitting in her car waiting until closer to 0900. Well, I didn't agree to holding her spot while she sat in her car.. She just got back.
We'll see how this all plays out...

pedropcolaEarly voted yesterday at public library. Looked crowded. Got inside and got a ballot in about a minute. Very easy, very quick. Why I don’t early vote every time I have no idea.

flashguyHad an opportunity to vote yesterday--friend took me to lunch and then we stopped at the polls. This time a major poll was located in our church and it was busy! I'm not fully functional yet and was seated and they brought the machine over to me. Had no problem voting, got the printed ballot (with readable English names) and took it to the counting station myself. Took about 10 minutes.
Straight Rep votes all the way. Felt good to get it done.

It was the last day of early voting.

That's a pretty high number compared to previous years and IMO a good sign. There was a little line even to get to the check-in table which is also unusual for my town.
Had 5 choices to make including NOT letting John Fetterman get into the Senate, voted Republican for all 5 choices.
I saw that PA no longer lets you press one button to vote straight ticket, you have to make each choice individually.

Texas no longer has this as well.
Back in the 2018 election, in early voting, certain people who voted for the Republican ticket with a single click found the Ted Cruz vote was changed to a Beto vote. On the radio, people were encouraged to vote individually down the ballot, and the state later got rid of the straight ticket choice. This is why I always make a final check, line by line, before I submit my ballot.

rwilliI do love small towns, The wife and I were In and out in 10 minutes. All was calm and no campaigners on the grounds or anywhere in sight. Also, in all of the local campaigns, Republicans were unopposed. I hope that is an indication of good things to come.

PHPaulDone and done. Polls opened at 8:00, we were there at 8:30. There was a pretty good crowd, certainly more than I saw at the last election.
Now I just need to hunker down and ignore all the obnoxious prognosticators for a couple of days until the dust settles and we see what we see.

c1steveI do not believe the Dems realize the amount of hate and anger they have generated. I will never, ever forget what they have done, sort of a Pearl Harbor event.

SpinZonePolls opened at 7, i went around 10. Usually it is pretty empty around then, Our voting precincts are not very large.
It was a full house today! Had to wait behind 2 or 3 people to check in (4 stations) and then to get a ballot (3 stations) and then I had to wait in line to get an open voting booth (25 stations)
I was still in and out in under 10 minutes. Everyone was smiling, chatting small talk, and being overall polite. It almost had a festive atmosphere. It was great to see that many people out voting.

bald1Voted around 11am here at my polling place (volunteer fire department) minutes away.
This is the most crowded I've seen things since moving here in the early '90s. I suspect two ballot measures are why: Medicaid expansion (Obamacare related and posted as a constitutional amendment) and legalizing recreational pot. Both hopefully should fail.
