Going tomorrow morning, since there's a polling place by the Pavilion off Market St.
Hoping it's not too busy after I get the kids to school.

Coworker warned me ahead of time that the ballot is quite long (but she's Harris Co)
Looked over the sample ballot PDF, 18 pages.

Done, straight 'R' from top to bottom.

Got it done this morning. In & out with no wait & no line.
Only 33 items on the ballot, compared to the 99 a coworker said she had for Harris Co.

Wife has already voted by absentee ballot. I will vote in person on election day.

I don't have enough trust in the system to submit a paper ballot by mail. Too many things can happen to that piece of paper as it passes through the hands of postal workers. It could get lost, accidentally thrown away, end up in a ditch in Chicago, or go up in flames in a burning mail truck.

Agreed, your vote is too valuable to trust to the USPS, I know many people that request an absentee ballot and they are no where near absent, they have said that they simply don't want to go wait in line at a voting booth.

You shouldn't be able to get these ballots unless you are out of the area, or, physically unable. With all the advance voting dates available there is no reason people should be mailing them in...

I agree.

Para, in my wife's case I hand delivered it to our Registrar's office, and she requested it online.

I didn’t. After I got it notarized, I drove it directly to my County’s Election Office.

I voted yes today and for all the GOP candidates. In Scott County early voting is very efficient, I prefer to vote early (but not often) and not wait until election day.

My wife and I voted yesterday. It took maybe 5 minutes. Only one contest to vote for and another one running unopposed.

Also, to add.
Voting was done on a digital machine, but printed out a paper ballot which was subsequently scanned afterward.
The blank paper ballot was provided by the polling staff after you check in with your ID. Feed it into the machine, make your selections & it prints out the completed ballot.

Does anyone know if the Republicans have done anything to tighten oversight of our elections, considering the questions surrounding the last presidential election?

I voted absentee a couple of weeks ago as I’m going to be too busy on Election Day to deal with it.

I work from 6 in the morning until who knows when as I am a Elections Inspector for my city and I’m assigned to a different precinct than the one I vote in.

Voted this morning. Much easier process than if I had waited until the 8th.

Nary a person in sight that was under forty, maybe even fifty.

We recently moved to NC so I want to vote in person to see how the process works here. The voting place is just across the road from our subdivision, in a church, so the commute isn’t too bad…
