Hello, I am not a techie lol , my current phone is a J7 crown (77$ on amazon) but does what I need it to very well (wifi hot spot and streams to my TV even w/no wifi connection). I like the phone but it is a little bulky and I am going to upgrade during the big black friday sale. i REALLY wanted a Motorola phone, BUT Samsung are the only ones that stream movies/You tube W/O any wifi at all. My question is if ya had to buy a Samsung ,which one would ya get. I do not want to spend S10 $$ so, maybe an old A50 or S8 or S9, i also like the looks of the edge. I will be using this on straight talk which uses Verizon towers.

I do not care about the super cameras or stuff,mostly want something that looks sharp and streams and wifi hotspots.

The S9 is great. I have no desire to upgrade it anytime soon, especially not for the S10. If you can get a good deal on the S9, that would be my recommendation.

I do like that phone as well, I have about 300 to spend , I will def check that out, thanks a ton for the reply !

I went from a Motorola to a Samsung Galaxy s9. I will say that for the most part, the Samsung Galaxy s9 is hands down a better phone in almost every way.

My one major complaint with my new Samsung Galaxy s9, is it doesn't sync with my cars bluetooth automatically, and it usually takes multiple times to manually do it.

Also, for some reason where I had strong signals with the Motorola, I have a weaker signal. Yet in most places that I had little or no service with the Motorola, the Samsung Galaxy s9 has good to great service. Figure that one out!?!

Besides that, I'm very happy with the performance of the phone.
