I believe in the principle of Due Process |
Townhall.com Kirt Schlichter April 26, 2018 Well, not “buzz.” But you get the point. We are experiencing an epidemic of liberals trying to push us around. And, since life is really just high school, except with older and stupider people, schoolyard rules apply. So when someone tries to bully, you smack him. Hard. Right in the Pelosi. That's what we need to do the liberals when they form their creepy little social media lynch mobs. This nonsense about cowering and apologizing and begging for forgiveness from these petty tyrants needs to stop. Besides being undignified and shameful, submission just encourages them. Take whoever Shania Twain is. I understand she was once a country singer. Apparently, her image is calculated to project some sort of inoffensive, non-threatening Girl Power! vibe. You know, the kind of tedious "You go girl!" empowerment affirmation that temporarily eases the pain of its adherents’ lonely, cat-filled lives. We don’t need a man when we have you, Mr. Whiskers! Anyway, Shania recently manifested the awesome power of girlhood when liberals complained that she dared to say something that offended them – she said she would have voted for Trump if she wasn’t the one foreigner in America who didn’t vote. Basically, she said she was like 43% of Americans, and that’s far too extreme to be tolerated by the Twitterstapo. She surrendered and submitted to their wrath, groveling for forgiveness. Sure, she's Canadian, but that's really no excuse. Call it “Girl Powerlessness.” So, they claimed her flowing brunette scalp. They cowed her and moved on to other conquests. But a whole bunch of her fans now think she's a girl wimp. She alienated the people who actually liked her music to please a bunch of hipster doofuses and trendy internet scribblers who wouldn’t listen to her records if they were recorded on the last vinyl on Earth. Then contrast that capitulation with the righteous resistance of someone named Kanye West, who is no relation to Adam West though that would be the coolest thing ever. Now, I'm not familiar with him or his oeuvre because I essentially stopped listening to new music in 1987 when The Replacements released their last really great album, Pleased to Meet Me. But Kanye West, seems to be very, very popular with the kids. So he has some cultural heat, and when he decided to dissent, the Fahrenheit 451 firepeople knew they had to light that fire but quick. Kanye said in a tweet that he approved of Candace Owens, and the enragening commenced. Now, I met Candace at CPAC, and she's an an impressive lady who doesn't take a lot of Schiff. As a woman and a black conservative, she is targeted for all sorts of grief, but she fights back by fearlessly asserting the Founders’ vision of personal freedom and personal responsibility as an antidote to the poison of the Democrat Party. Naturally, this makes her hated by all the people you would be proud to be hated by. Kanye seems to like her message, so he tweeted nice things about her and her ideas, and all hell broke loose. And Kanye West, seeing the outraged response by the professional outragers, did what any free American citizen should do and doubled down. Then he tripled down, berating these petty fascists for their mindless, lockstep conformity. See, he's going to do and say what he damn well pleases, and anyone who doesn’t like it can buzz off. Well, not “buzz.” That's how we all need to do it in our everyday lives. So many times, people are getting called racist or sexist or some other stupid slander and it's all baloney, but for whatever reason some people feel compelled to apologize and grovel when they say something other people don't like. Never apologize to liberals. It’s a sign of weakness. Liberals wield shame as cultural mace to pummel others into conformity. Most people are weak, and most people will conform. This goes triple for liberals – SJWs are happy to eat their own if there are no Normals around to feed on. Liberals are human sheep when they aren't going full lemming. Never go full lemming. Americans are vulnerable because they don't like giving offense when they can help it. They're not at the Canadian level of wussiness, but they are generally nice and polite people. That must change. We must actively give offense. We must confront liberals’ stupid, poisonous ideas at every turn, viciously and without remorse. It's about time that our default response change from “I'm sorry I gave offense” to “You're an idiot for being offended and get out of my face before I slug you.” We need more Kanyes and fewer Shanias, more people willing to stand up to the slobbering pack of Twitter social justice geebos who have achieved nothing in life except to humiliate a few weak-hearted pushovers. These are bad people, and you empower them when you treat them like anything other than the garbage people they are. Don't like what I say? Don't like what I think? Don’t like what I write? Don't like what I tweet? Good. The only thing I'm sorry about is that I haven't said more things you don’t like. So, buzz off. Well, not “buzz.” Link Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I was in Bozeman, MT on Monday. At a bagel shop I hear two college kids calling President Trump a "moron" and an "Asshole". Was going to let it go ,but on the third expletive I turned and walked up to them. Told them ; "No matter how much You dislike him, he is STILL our President, so have some RESPECT". "I took an oath to defend and uphold the Constitution ,TWICE in my life. I will not sit here and listen to You guys denigrating The Office of the President". I was not loud or physically threatening. Of course they cowered and said nothing. Minutes later one came over and apologized. We ended up having a little conversation about civility, manners and respect. I'm with the author of the article...I no longer sit and listen to this shit.

Maybe that is the only thing West has ever done that I like. West may usually be full of shit, but no one has ever accused him of being shy or retiring. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. When Mr. West is wrong he should be called on it. But, when Mr. West is right he should be praised for it. Just like anybody else. Thanks, Sap

Get my pies outta the oven! |
The day after the election, I was called a "racist" and it was inferred that I was somehow part of the KKK for being happy about Trump winning, by a co-worker. I promptly reported him to management and told them I was not going to just grin and bear it any longer and that this treatment was unacceptable to me. He was groveling the very next day in apology. Not a comment since about my choice of Presidents. Stand up, hit them back. it works.

I feel more and more like this every day. I won't spend my time debating with idiots or fanatics. I just say NO or some other offensive and insensitive phrase. For instance leading up to the last election anytime someone mentioned Hillary in a positive light I'd simply say Benghazi. Oh you're offended? Toughen up buttercup. Micro aggression? How'd ya like to try Macro? White privilege? Isn't that the privilege of not being able to blame anyone else for my position in life? Anymore I'm pretty sure that the attention seekers don't want my attention. I have the heart of a lion.......and a lifetime ban from the Toronto Zoo.- Unknown

No, not like Bill Clinton |
I have to battle this a bit after the step kids come back from their weekends in Libland. It's my duty. My Trump bobble head in my office hasn't made anyone cry, yet.

Kurt gave us some very good advice right there. I'm looking forward to trying this out - minus the 'slug you' part of course ---------------------------------- "If you are not prepared to use force to defend civilization, then be prepared to accept barbarism.." - Thomas Sowell

The progress of PC "culture" has led all the way to ANTIFA retards, and so now it is going to stop. Fuck you, fuck your feelings. Being offended isn't an injured state. I've reminded a couple employees that if you walk in and attempt to engage me in conversation with "I feel...", I'm going to tell you "I don't give a damn about what you 'feel'. Leave and come back when you have 'thoughts' to share." They're not real bright but they are learning. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. Thank you for that Jallen. The liberals have succeeded thus far because of the "squeeky wheel" mentality. And most people, even though they couldnt disagree more, let it go just to get along and keep things smooth. That hasnt worked very well has it? The only way we can begin to reverse the damage is to stand up and have the balls to swim against the politically correct stream.

Thanks for that Jallen. I am no longer putting up with PC bull shit. "Oh, you are offended by what I said; well buckle up buttercup and get ready for something really offensive". We MUST stand up for ourselves, and "going along to get along" be dammed. Rod "Do not approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction."
