My favorite is my P226 West Germany. It was my first gun. It's in the hands of my nephew now.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Interesting question.

I really enjoy my P220 Carry Elite as I tend to shoot it the best, but my all time favorite is the Winchester Model 94 30-30. It is the gun of my western, cowboy fascination youth and my first firearm purchase.

Still have it 36 years later.

Please don't excommunicate me Big Grin but my current favorite is my S&W M&P. Lets me carry my all-time favorite round, the .45ACP without running around with a brick strapped to my hip.

HK P7 series. It’s the quintacential gun geeks gun.
-Out of production now and rare when in production
-was and is still attainable/available enough
-weird action…
-yet incredibly reliable and accurate.
-completely practical if you want it to be yet a great safe queen / conversation piece too.

I love the P7.

Interesting question. I guess my favorite firearm would be a Doug Turnbull USFA SAA 4 3/4 with one piece walnut grips chambered in 45 Colt the way god intended.

The hard part about the question is that I have a favorite hunting shotgun, a favorite combat rifle, and a favorite shooting handgun. Any of those could have beaten the SAA.
