A friend of mine is a 911 dispatcher in norther Virginia. While talking about the strangest calls he has taken my friend mentioned one call that shocked me quite a bit.

Apparently someone managed to get a butternut squash stuck so far up their bum they required hospitalization.

A friend is a radiology tech. He told me a bunch of stories about things like this.

The one that puzzles me the most was an incandescent light bulb stuck way up there.

How could the person even think that wasn't a bad idea?
They had to go to surgery because the docs didn't want to break the bulb trying to pull it out.

SNL had an entire recurring sketch on this years ago when Chris Parnell would be a regular at the Appalachian Emergency Room with something he "accidentally" got stuck up his ass.

Must be a regional thing.

I've been in the OR since 1986 and Oh, the stories I could tell if HIPAA didn't exist. The frequent flyers are the most interesting, I mean you see the name on the schedule and the betting begins on what its gonna be this time.

8 years as a firefighter medic. You would likely be amazed at the things people fall on rectum first while walking around naked.

My personal favorite, one very similar to this, although it was brass. Yes, the tall one in the middle.....
