OKCGeneBreaking bear news ! Bear in the bean field, Bear in the bean field ,Bear in the bean field
We now have black bears in the eastern side of Oklahoma County. That's crazy, they've never been seen here before, no one is sure why they are migrating.
The crazy thing, and to be expected, is they're being hit by vehicles. You thought hitting a deer is bad, hitting a black bear is really bad. The local news showed a pic of a black bear on the side of I-40 a few days ago that had been smacked by a Semi truck.

rburgIn Colorado they hit entire herds of elk. You think a single black bear is bad. I knew a guy who was driving his Grand Cherokee down the rural road and a turkey flew up. Totaled his ride! I've heard it said that hitting a deer is bad. But hitting a hog is like hitting a culvert. And the worst of it is hitting a horse or moose. The car takes the legs out and the 1000# body slides back the hood and lands in the front seat. The solution, sleep at night, drive in daylight.

a1abdjHe was caught and later released. He ended up stuck inside the perimeter fencing of the GM plant (or neighboring business). Hundreds of people showed up to gawk at him, and between that and his inability to find his way out he was getting irritated.
They didn’t say where they dropped him off, but I’m assuming a bit further south to avoid further interstate crossings.

DaBigBRI forget from the waiver...what does "bear in the beanfield* mean when it comes from bendable, again? Am I going to need a gas mask or a fallout shelter? Just enough TP to get to November?

I'm going with his Grand Cherokee wasn't worth much to begin with. While traveling 60mph on my Kawasaki ZX-9R, I hit a turkey. It knocked of the rear view mirror on one side and my neck and shoulder were sore for a few days. The turkey didn't make it.
It must be nice to live in a place where a bear or two sighting in a bean field makes the local news. Did Aunt Edna's apple pie win the blue ribbon at the county fair again?

Don't worry, there's not enough numbers in that post for it to be a Bendabalian secret code.
