He was worth 140 Billion

ex wife MacKenzie Scott got about 38 billion


Now today Jeff Bezos is worth $195 billion as the richest man in the world

Despite giving away several billion, MacKenzie'e wealth has grown to 60 billion

The gross amount is irrelevant to Bezos. What is relevant is how much stock he controls to control the company. IIRC, she's letting him vote the stock he let her have in the divorce.
