A few years back I met a John Deere sales team on a train from Paris to Frankfurt. When I told them I was from Massachusetts he said, “Massachusetts!?! You must think John Deere is a hat company.”

Had a good conversation with them. He pointed out farms along the ride and said “You see them straight lines, that’s how you know it’s a Deere. We use satellites.”

I hadn’t seen that one, pretty good.

Good commercial, my son is an engineer at Deere, he works with the combines.

Deere has several plants in the IA/IL Quad cities, world headquarters is across the river in Moline.
