I have a pair of Werner TW372-30 multipurpose step ladder, workstand, sawhorses. They are bit pricey for simply sawhorses, but they are designed as work platforms as well, as you can stand comfortably and safely on the wide top step. I believe drywall workers use them. I can grab one for reaching just about anything in the garage, very comfortable on the top step. They also make great sawhorses.

Ding ding ding ding ding...we have a winner.

And you'd be surprised how much weight they'll take. I have a couple of sets of homebuilt 2x4 and 2x6 sets but I hardly ever use them since I got these.

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Heavy, but I always made mine out of 2x6 with 1x pine end gussets and shelf. 4' long, they could also be used to support planks for low level staging and to support pieces of TGI which can be used for miter saw tables.
