I have a helmet that appears to be Polish WW2. But there are no stampings inside it anywhere.

Pictures here: https://imgur.com/a/gCt7lsw

Where would/could I go to get some help identifying it and determining its value?

Find someplace to upload your photos, like photobucket or Imgur. Then come back here and post the url to the photo like this:

[ IMG]url_to_your_photo[/IMG]

Take the space out between [ and I

Or

Just post a link to your photos wherever you've uploaded them. Make sure they aren't protected from viewing.

Thank you. I have the Model 42 as shown with the soldier with the machine gun in your above website link and the first helmet shown in this link:

Wonder why the "wings" on each side of the helmet?
Seems the helmet could have fit a little closer to the soldiers face.

Provides fragmentation protection without impeding hearing.

Many helmets of the time period had similar shape. The Swiss helmets' "wings" are just a bit more pronounced than usual.

Even the more uniformly rounded helmet designs, like the US M1 helmet, fit fairly loosely around the side of the head.
