I've got a friend who refuses to see that compromise is about as good as its going to get with people that disagree with his position. Yvon Choinourd (Patagonia founder) is his hero, despite his own hypocritical ways. He's convinced that the world is over-populated, then I ask him what the solution is...blank look. I have a solution. All those who believe in man caused climate change should themselves immediately stop emitting CO2 and CH4 (ie, no more breathing or flatus). That would solve the problem.

He has an expensive multi-million dollar penthouse in New York and also a multi-million dollar vacation home on Lake Charlevoix, Michigan. Charleviox is almost all the richest of the rich playground during the summer months. His wife before his divorce spent something close to $40 Million (yep, you read that correctly) to "up-grade" the vacay home. One of the drivers of his divorce the locals claim here in MI.

Wherever there is populist discent or hurt, this millionaire will show up in his baseball cap and tee shirt to be like the oppressed.. .
