Sorry George, we don't use kerosene heaters indoors in this part of the state. Big Grin

My wife likes the oil filled type. Drags it around behind her from room to room like Linus with his blanket.
Saw one on Amazon with a handle on top. Think I just found a Christmas gift for her.

I've got two for ya:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097...ed_asin_title_2&th=1

This one heats up my office at work LIKE A CHAMP. It's also tiny, has a nice remote.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6...ed_asin_title_1&th=1

This one heats up my roughly 900 sq ft garage at the house during winter. Basically to keep it from freezing in there, won't make the garage hot or anything. I would turn a bedroom into an oven I'm sure.

2 heat ranges, ceramic, oscillating, temp setting. Under $50

I had my patience tested... I'm negative.

Project Farm tested a bunch of heaters and picked the best based on several parameters:

We use one of the oil filled radiators at the house, and I noticed the lights dimmed when it kicked on. We still use it, but only on low or medium.

Here's to the sunny slopes of long ago.

The hot oil heaters I use have three power settings. 600, 900, or 1200 watts. I've never needed to run one higher than 900 watts to heat whatever space I'm using it for.

I'm not sure I'd trust one of these with 1500W plugged in.

We've had good luck with the oil ones. They do take a bit to warm, but stable once there. Don't be fooled into thinking they will be less likely to start an electrical fire though, they pull 1500W or more as well.
