Looking for a true MINIMAList wallet
I have been using "the original" Trove wallet for several years. I have 5 cards in the main pocket and several folded $20 bills in the side for when I (rarely) need cash. It is very thin and easy to carry in my jeans front pocket.

You won't get much more minimalist than the Allett's. Just slightly thicker than Saran Wrap but last much longer. Not expensive.

Andrew’s leather makes a nice card wallet. I’ve carried an ostrich leg one for years, and use a binder clip for cash.

Not sure why the OP doesn't just ditch the rubber band and go with nothing at all, but the above would dress things up a bit for the wife's sake.

^ I use a binder clip for a few bills and one card in the front pocket when I travel and can’t avoid crowded places. The main stuff goes in a more secure location.

Nope, just enough to keep stuff from sliding out the end. I would add it's a tight fit with 2 cards and a DL so if you carry more than that this model might not be the best choice. I use a trifold wallet most of thetime but it's perfect for when I just need my ID and a couple cards.

I've used the same simple titanium money clip to hold cash & cards for the last 10 years. Easily holds all of 7 of my ID & credit cards along with cash. I've bent it out of shape and just use some pliers to get it tighter again. I think I paid $40 for it.

Another recommendation for Trayvax. I've had mine for about 4.5 years. It does block RFID, has a lifetime warranty and forces me to keep my wallet slim. The baseball glove leather molds to what you carry.

Big Skinny RFID wallet. Several different options there regarding size, bifold vs trifold etc. I've had mine for a few years now and it has held up well. Would buy from them again.

No personal experience but have heard good things about Identity Stronghold. Also RFID.

I dislike carrying a lot stuff in my wallet and try to be a minimalist.



I'm not as illiterate as my typos would suggest.

I had a Ridge knockoff for awhile, went to the Apache Pine wallet a few years ago.

Aluminum plates held together with elastic bands. Perfect for me and a little easier to get stuff out than the Ridge design.

Will hold a single card securely. Also an external band for bills or a card you use frequently and want to keep handy.

Price leaves more money in your wallet than some of the recommendations.
