My wife and I each have a couple entries in our "Contacts" list, designated as Emergency Contacts. Wife asked me today, if either (or both) of us were to be in an accident and unresonsive, how would first responders be able to find the emergency contacts in our password protected iPhones. I have no idea. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should |
Also, if your i-phone senses a high G impact, it automatically notifies the emergency contact to check on you. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

Got it, thanks y'all. 229-9er: I knew that my Apple Watch does this, but I was not aware that the iPhone does it too. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Which is good, unless your contact is in the high g impact with you.... Always have a second contact in the phone if you can, let them know they are the second contact as well.

Most first responders know this, but not all. We had the state update our basic law enforcement training lesson plans with that in them specifically. But it is a great thing to have available. You can also put allergies or medication lists in there. Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here. Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard. -JALLEN "All I need is a WAR ON DRUGS reference and I got myself a police thread BINGO." -jljones

Great thread reminder. I went to set up two people and found out I already added one of them. I forgot I did set up emergency contacts. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Yup. In our case, spouse is listed as first contact, son is the second one. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Start in your contacts listing By placing behind the letter A or multible A"s as needed in front of "wife""daugheter" "son" "husband" "etc" to make these contact listings to be the first to pop up.... Or have a emergency contact listing section. ......... drill sgt.

Recently used emergency contact information to return a phone I found at the post office. Was able to contact the man’s wife and I meet him at a local grocery store to hand over the phone. Worked out perfectlyThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Sauer Kraut,
