That's freakin cool. Snakes really don't bother me in the slightest, and seeing a bunch of rattlers is awesome - although I'd probably have just left the go-pro.... I also woupldn't have gotten that close or even dreamed of filming them to begin with...

I love snakes but have a healthy respect (fear) for the kind with the elliptical pupils.

Only time I will kill a snake is if it is poisonous and is where a person might be bitten.

Other than that, live and let live. They all serve a very useful function.

I have "captured" a quite a number of black snakes and removed them to safety. Some of them I brought home and released in the wood around the house. They tend to keep the population of poisonous ones in control.
