RogBChick-fil-a customer tests Starbucks’ new ‘No purchase required’ policy

HRKA $70 million dollar ad campaign, by making an issue of an issue, Starbucks was one if not still most talked about companies on the air, cable, internet, social media. The people that go there will still go, maybe even twice today because they are a cup low on charcoal flavored joecalatefagafrapamochachinonosoynowhip drinks....
The folks that don't like the coffee, the chain or it's pollytics are talking about it, posting, blogging, news, maybe even actually having a face to face conversation. Doesn't mater what those folks think, they weren't customers anyway, but you just make them players in the marketing scheme.
Those who don't care about it either way, still don't care about it.
Its a brilliant marketing move, see druggies, hobos, thugs, street urchins all the problem people don't watch CNN, MSNBC, or don't have smart phones and fakebook accounts.
So national publicity for weeks on end over tossing out two guys that refused to leave the shop. Might as well make lemonade out of lemons if you can.
Reminds me of the saying "I don't care what you call me, just don't call me late for dinner"

BGULLIt is always fun to think about doing things like that, rubbing it in on the corporate stupidity and posturing. In actual practice its the worker who has to suck it up as things goes south(and it will, maybe not everywhere, but it will)......

EdmondAmazing how they will cater to guys just hanging out but public servants aren't given any respect. This is from a few years ago:
http://www.nj.com/news/index.s...cer_refused_bat.htmlThey didn't close their stores for any sensitivity training after that, did they?

parabellumI may very well plant my ass in a Starbucks for couple of hours and watch a movie on my tablet. I certainly hope I don't have severe gas that day. That would be awkward.
I don't usually drink coffee but I'll bring a thermos full of it in there and drink it all. I guess I'll need to visit the bathroom, too.

BisleyblackhawkIt would be fun to binge on a half dozen boiled eggs for breakfast and bring in a bag of Taco Bell...it shouldn't take too long

LS1 GTOWife thinks it's a great idea to purchase twenty-five $2 gift cards and hand them out.
Trying to determine if we can write off the $50 on our taxes.

bigdealThat guy in the video was great! If I opt to visit a local HipsterBucks, I want to bring a group of like minded friends with me so we can monopolize the dining room, bathroom, and WiFi.
