Here in AZ (about 1,000 ft higher than the Valley of the Sun, which is Phoenix), but we are not in the mountains. We see 100 to mid 100's during June, our hottest and driest month (the Valley can get to 115-120). Then the seasonal storms roll in for July through August/early September. More humidity during widely scattered t-storms, but temp relief when they pass. We are mostly on mini-splits so can adjust temps area by area. Living room stays at 82-83, kitchen 78 only when we're in there, otherwise off, and bedrooms a bit cooler at night. You adapt to the heat after a few years and those indoor temps feel just great. The only time we see any real condensation coming from the AC units is during the storm season. | |||
