I have not been to photobucket for years. Well, as you can see my avatar is corrupted. Advised to redo the photo I went back to Photobucket and could not gain access. Long story short. I need a new photo sharing site. What do y'all recommend?

Your avatar is not corrupted. Rather, you are using a free Photobucket account, and have exceeded your bandwidth limit.

So your choices are to pony up for a paid Photobucket account, or transfer all your photos to a different photo hosting site.

There are a number of other options for photo hosting, as outlined in various other Sigforum threads drabfour linked to above.

I would suggest investing in a reasonably-priced paid host. (Personally, I use Imageshack, which is well worth the $18.99/year.) Otherwise, you'll likely just end up having to transfer your photos again in the near future, as the remaining free hosts shut down or switch to strictly paid subscriptions. The cost of running a "free" photo host is simply too high these days to offset with ads alone.

I tried Google Images. It doesn't appear to be compatible. If I could get on to Photobucket I'd dump a bunch of stuff, but I can't get past the annoying pop up that asks for an email address.

I managed to get back on. I was using the wrong email address. Like I said I haven't been on that site for awhile. I'll delete everything I can and hopefully that will restore things.

Imgur's terms of service prohibit using it for avatars . They'll shut you down if you're caught.

As I said, I like Flickr. Bear in mind that a "free" account will only allow 1000 photos. I have 44,000 photos hosted and so I pay a $49.95/year subscription fee--I consider it a fair price to pay and really like the hierarchical structure available there.

I was shocked at what I had, and had forgotten on Photobucket. But, it was no where near 1000 photos. When it was free i was at 2 percent of capacity.
