For a fraction of the money they could simply send front men into hostile countries and buy up their television and radio stations, newspapers, entertainment companies and other information sources.
We could run their stock market, tell them which politicians to support, run their elections, omit any criticism of US policy, Tell them the US is their greatest ally and promote a host of bad ideas to unravel their social fabric. We could tell them which vaccines to inject into their bodies, all supplied by us.
We would have the power of social engineering. With that influence we could mold their perceptions and tell the men to be women, the women to be men and the children to choose their gender.
Within a short time the majority would stop having children.
We could tell them their ancestors were mean and hateful and shame them into accepting millions of immigrants from the jungles of Africa and India and if any of them complain we could label them extremists and racists and trigger their guilt. Then we could offer them redemption from their guilt by suggesting they intermarry with the immigrants.
Eventually the people of that country would lose their national and ethnic pride and identity and they would be willing to negotiate with us rather than resist in the name of their ancestors.

You keeps drizzling this worn out shit, but if it were such a Magnum Opus that would turn the world on it's head and leave the Good old USA standing, with it's collective boots upon the neck of all the evil doers in your wildest wet dreams, then why is there only crickets and no "High Five/Fist Bumps" as a reply to your missives?

You are on wearying sumbitch...

What part of, "You are not winning friends and influencing people", are you failing to grasp?

(and, no... I do not like you, nor your "message")

In what capacity have you ever served this Republic, or it's people?

Pull off your Pillowcase, toss off your Bedsheet, and talk plainly of your stance.

I only had two daughters.

The oldest Joined the U.S. Army.
Unfortunately, she developed serious musculoskeletal factures of feet, lower legs and hips, after more then 6 months of rehab and physical therapy, she was medically discharged.

My youngest daughter had (known) congenital kidney issues and only one kidney function.
She applied for a waiver, but during scans, it was revealed that she had spina bifida, and disqualified from service.

I always let them know and remind them, they stepped up before these issues, their attempts were valid and respected, and if no one else, I recognized it.

If I had any sons, they likely would have mirrored my daughters paths...

My take on Silvermine's post is that it's a sarcastic mirror as to what's been done to the U.S. by various entities (Globalists, Communists, race-hucksters, LGBXYZ+, etc.), not a serious call to action on the listed points.

Yes. To the USA and it seems even more so to Europeans.

I commanded at the O5 level but turned down O6 command and opted to retire (AF not Army). My rationale was simple: the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

I’m willing to put up with a lot of BS and certainly my family went through significant stress, and it’s all worth it to win. But at the senior level we do not want victory. And I’m uninterested in additional personal sacrifice to intentionally prolong wars and lose.

It's amazing anyone could miss that.

Well, he's a dick who's been trolling for his entire month here, so in the "which is more likely?" question I'm voting "Not sarcasm, just a dick."

This is the first time you have been presented social engineering in a strategic context. That's why you can't see that this is exactly what is happening to us.

Then there was one who posted about his US citizen son joining a foreign military, but that isn’t quite the same.

One member posted recently that his former UPS tractor trailer driver son signed up.

We have members here that are currently serving who don't make service sound particularly attractive. The members here that have served seem to be fairly negative on the armed forces today as well. That seems to be the pervasive attitude among people I know personally as well.

As a father of two sons and a daughter, it's not hard for me to see that my kids don't check the most boxes. Quick example: son's high school had a scholarship night where local organizations offering scholarships came to the school. Let's face it, he's not getting the Democratic Women of our County scholarship. It wasn't just that one either, he didn't check the boxes for 11 out of 12 of the scholarships represented where my daughter would have at least been considered for 9 out of 12.

My kids are playing the hand that they've been dealt. Service isn't attractive when the best they can get is a pair of two's.

This is a thread-drift, but since you raise the issue, I would agree: The bias toward females, in both education and the workplace has become untenable. It was once somewhat understandable, when women were in the minority but now it's intentionally difficult for men. The majority of college students are now female as young men are either excluded or don't even find it worthwhile.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
