Anyone know of someone or a company that would want safety deposit boxes? A friend is converting a bank into an eye Dr's office and needs to get rid of the safety deposit boxes. Any ideas who would want them? Located in Wendell, NC.

If you're not interested in getting top dollar, you could take them to a scrapyard. They'll pay you their value in metal scrap.

You might give a shout out to a1abdj, he is a safe tech and may know a good place to sell them. There is another tech on here too but I can't remember his name.

I believe they are free, but I’m double checking with her to make sure. She just needs them gone.

I personally think she should find a way to incorporate them into the office. Maybe keep customers eyeglasses in them until pickup

That would be pretty cool. Perhaps disable the locks and simply use magnets to hold the doors shut?

Put them out by the street and put a sign that says $100.00

They’ll be gone by tomorrow morning.

Maybe one of those movie prop companies? Around here we just set scrap metal stuff at the street the evening before trash day and it’s gone before bedtime.

Just the inside boxes? Or the whole unit?

The inside boxes might make a good gun and ammo secure box
