JD Vance warned them and he was mocked but it is getting worse.

A UK man came to America and shot guns at a range here, posted a picture of himself holding a rifle on Linkedin, and was arrested for that after he went back to UK.

What is going on in Europe and Canada is revolting and scary. Many of us say "that will never happen here" but a growing liberty hating marxist progressive left movement would do this crap in an instant if they ever obtained the power to do so.

I, on the other hand, support putting any kind of sights on an AR. (top left pic lol).

Europe is scary. I’m glad our forefathers said fuck that.

While I’m not for anyone getting arrested over a picture of them shooting, wtf was he doing posting a picture on LinkedIn of all places? Was he not aware of what is happening in UK especially.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Actually, Britain is the “Mother Country”, as it birthed the USA. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other such former colonies would be our “younger siblings” since USA was the first to break away. Wink

A 2025 Rasmussen/Heartland survey found that 51% of likely U.S. voters ages 18–39 would like a “democratic socialist” candidate to win the 2028 presidential election.

I wish Republicans would start voting in higher percentages. It seems like a no brainer with the craziness of the left at an all time high.

Cause we all know how accurate polls are. They are 100 percent truthful, and never an answer looking for justification.

Agreed, except it seemed a little somethning since it was from Rasmussen. Some information not from the hard left. I work with engineers, and they are all very sharp and reeasonable people, but more than half of them would vote for the socialists or communists, but not admit being so themselves. So 51% doesn't seem like a stretch to me, and I don't live in loonytown.

Yes, it strangles their gonads and causes them to atrophy and fall off. Same as neutering farm animals here.

Mrs. Redstone and I wen to the musical (yes, the musical) A Tale of Two Cities recently. I have always found the ending when the seamstress pleads, "how will my death serve the republic" to be haunting. How does an intelligent and modern people allow this to happen in their own society. And some scream and cheer for it?

Yes, they knew they would never make any charges stick. That wasn't the point. the point was to strike fear of 'the process' into the hearts of anyone else who may feel like exercising their rights to speech. You do something we dont like, . . . . we will ruin you.
